At Taal Lokaal West, you can start at one of two advanced levels. On this page, you’ll find all the details for both courses.

Dutch Advanced Level 3

Speak more freely and express opinions in Dutch. Expand your vocabulary, improve your grammar in use, and gain confidence in real-life conversations.

Start: March 3, 2026

Schedule: Tue & Fri 18.00–19.45 (7 weeks).

Week 7: Saturday afternoon excursion, followed by a festive wrap-up with food and drinks at our Language Café.

Learning Goals:

Speak more fluently and confidently in conversations
Understand and use different tenses (present, past, future)
Improve sentence structure and word order
Use practical grammar in context (modals, reflexive verbs, etc.)
Discuss daily topics like work, school, social events, and Dutch culture

Location: Taal Lokaal, Oostzaanstraat 28, Amsterdam West

Course book: Nederlands in Actie to be ordered separately by the course participant.

Certificate: The written final exam takes place at the end of the course. All course participants who attended at least 75% of the course will receive a certificate of attendance.

Course fee: €495 (early bird until February 15), normally €549

Dutch Advanced Level 4

Take your Dutch to the next level. Learn to discuss complex topics, understand native speakers better, and speak naturally and fluently in both social and professional settings.
